Michele was appointed to the role of Director in Clinch Wealth Management, December 2016. Michele joined Clinch Wealth Management as Operations Manager in January 2015. She manages our compliance and administration operations to ensure the best service experience for our clients. Michele also manages our team of Client Service & Compliance Executives. She previously worked with Bank of Ireland for 28 years. During this time, she carried out a number of roles in Bank of Ireland Private Banking. Michele primarily operated in the Client Management area as a Portfolio Manager, a Portfolio Team Leader and Manager of the Client Services Team. She was ultimately appointed to Head of Client Support, a position she held until her departure in 2014. Michele is a QFA and holder of the Joint Financial Services Diploma from the Institute of Banking, The Insurance Institute of Ireland & LIA. Michele also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Credential.
Tom has been advising clients in Clinch since 1992. He succeeded his father, Andrew Clinch as Managing Director in 2004, who first established our reputation for integrity, expertise and service. Since 2004, Tom has built an exceptional team of experts, led the acquisition and consolidation of five other financial advisory firms and grown Clinch from €30M assets under management to €500M. Tom is head of Technical Services providing insights on pensions, investments and inheritance planning products to the Clinch advisory team and our tax and legal partners. He is also head of Investment Strategy and together with his independent Clinch investment committee colleagues, he devises all the firm’s investment strategies. Tom is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, a QFA and a former head of Financial Services in Brokers Ireland. He has written and presented on financial matters to the Judicial Council, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, financial industry conferences and business media. Tom is also a Director of Meav Productions which manages the creative and commercial activities of Grammy nominated singer Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, Tom and their family.
Andrew joined Clinch Wealth Management as Director in January 2013. He manages our team of portfolio managers and financial planners. He has overall responsibility for all the advisory services we provide. Andrew began his financial services career in 1995 with ABN AMRO. He was appointed Head of Sales for the bank’s North America IFSC Company, Managing Director of the bank’s International Treasury Services Company in Budapest and Head of the bank’s Irish Portfolio Management division. Andrew spent seven years within the Capital Markets division of IBRC where he sat on the board of the bank’s treasury division. He was Head of Client Services for Abbey Capital where he worked before joining the team at Clinch Wealth Management. Andrew holds a BA in Economics from UCD and MSc in Investment and Treasury from DCU and is a QFA.
Áine Kerr is an award-winning business leader in digital innovation and communications, with over 20 years of experience spanning technology, media, and journalism. She co-founded Kinzen, a company focused on detecting dangerous misinformation and violent content, which was acquired by Spotify in 2022.
Previously, Áine led Facebook’s Journalism Project and played a key role in creating the News Integrity Initiative. She also held senior roles at Storyful and worked as a political correspondent for The Irish Independent, The Irish Times and The Irish Examiner. Áine chairs the President of Ireland’s Gaisce Council, social innovation fund Rethink Ireland and education initiative The Shona Project. She is an advisor to Founders in NDRC, Fierce in Dogpatch Labs, Tech FoundHer and Awaken Angels. Her leadership in digital transformation, social impact, and media will provide invaluable guidance as Clinch continues to pursue forward-thinking growth.
Bernard Jackman brings a unique blend of sports leadership and business strategy to Clinch’s Advisory Board. A former professional rugby player turned business consultant, Bernard specialises in leadership development, team cohesion, digital transformation, and IT strategy.
His notable rugby achievements include winning a Celtic League, European Challenge and European Champions cup with Sale Sharks and Leinster, along with a Six Nations medal with Ireland. After retiring in 2010, he moved into coaching, leading teams in Ireland and France before transitioning into business consulting and rugby punditry. He was Head of High Performance for Ireland’s Equestrian teams at the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics. Bernard is passionate about building high-performance teams and has worked with major companies like Airbnb, Aviva, Britvic, Pfizer and others, helping organisations navigate change and create sustainable success.
