Leona Nicholson joined the Clinch Investment Committee in January 2025. Leona’s exceptional track record spans over 30 years in the investment industry. Currently Head of Investment Management at Universal Investment Ireland, Leona previously served as Head of Investment Management at Bank of Ireland, where she specialised in global equities and multi-asset securities. Among her many accomplishments, Leona established and managed the highly successful Global Fundamentals Equity Fund from 2011 to 2021. Leona’s academic credentials include a BA in European Studies from the University of Limerick, a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors, and a Diploma in International Fund Services from UCD. Leona is an Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals (UK), a Certified Investment Fund Director, and a qualified Financial Advisor from the Institute of Bankers.
